Fish oil or increasing or omega 3 levels is an excellent way to reduce pain. Omega 3 has many good qualities but it’s best one is it’s anti inflammatory properties. It is great for minor aches and pains. Also helps with arthritis pains and helps with heart health among many other health benefits. So increase your omega 3 and decrease your omega 6’s.

Thank you so much for posting this. I am really in search for some pain relief but I do not like to take prescribed medicine with all those side effects. I will give this a try.

As a physical therapist I love using ice packs. Apply the ice to the area for 10 minutes at a time, a few times a day. It is great for reducing inflammation and controlling pain.

GREAT info here. Seems if people do these basic pain relieving practices there lives can be a whole lot more pain free. Certainly these things work for me and most of them are free ! In particular, plenty of sleep, exercise, massage and regular gentle stretching!
