What is the best size electrode for Interferential therapy? A larger electrode often works better on chronic pain.

Apply your electrodes in a criss cross pattern. Form a large X, right over the painful area. The soothing electric current will cover the painful spot.

It’s important to place the electrodes over muscle or fat. Avoid placing electrodes over a bony area. Muscle and fat provide a more conductive pathway for the mild electric current. This provides the best pain relief experience.

Maybe that’s why my left butt muscle is tight and in pain. Sometimes while walking, I have to just stop and rest, my leg hurts so bad.

Or then again it could be due to an old injury. Playing tackle football with my friends, and without pads was fun, but not very smart, when I was a youngster. Oh, and let’s not forget, trying to imitate Evil Knievel.
