Inflammation, Diet and Pain

Inflammation has been linked to pain in the body, as well as diabetes, heart disease and other major health problems.
The foods that you eat can have a tremendous impact on inflammation. Sugar tops the list as an inflammatory sin.

Inflammatory Gluten

Rachel shares with us in this video, about the inflammatory evils of gluten.. Gluten is found in wheat and some other grains. Avoiding gluten can be challenging. You will discover that wheat is abundant in the Western diet, and it’s not that easy to just quit eating wheat and other gluten containing grains.

Healthy Resources

A good health food store can be a very valuable resource for locating gluten free breads. like rice bread. You can find a host of gluten free products with a little legwork.
It would be well worth the time to find some gluten-free cookbooks. A little education can go a long way towards making the gluten-free lifestyle easier.

My Story

I have personally been avoiding wheat for at least  a decade. After some dietary experimentation with an elimination diet,  I discovered that reintroducing wheat made me very tired. I also felt depressed and lethargic. After avoiding wheat for a while, my mood and energy began to improve.

Reader Comments

The problem with going to rice bread is the increase in triglycerides that happens with rice in a diet.

I use a very large dose of ibuprofen (2400 mg) to help with infammation but desire to find another way to deal with it.
