		<description>Hi Kim,
I truly understand the difficulty you have on placing the electrodes on your back/shoulder by yourself! If you are using the electrodes only on one side of your body, you might want to try the large butterfly electrode that is usually used for the low back. You may be able to handle the placement more easily since it is only one piece. You can see what the electrode looks like at our website Medfaxxinc.com under the electrode products.

Another option would be the conductive garment for the thoracic region. You still use the Infrex but the electrodes are fabric, lined with velcro and are placed inside the garment at the place you want. Since these electrodes contain no adhesive, you prepare them for use with a special solution before you place the garment on your body. Also, since the fabric electrodes contain no adhesive to stick to your body, you move them from one pain site to another by removing the garment and pull the electrode up and place it elsewhere on the garment. You can see a picture of the garment in the website also, and I&#039;ve copied the url of the page here:

If you have any other questions, please feel free to call me at 1-800-937-3993. I will be happy to talk with you and help you any way I can. I&#039;m glad that the Infrex is helping your pain.

		<description>Hi Kim,

Glad you doing well and the Infrex is helping. Let me give you couple of suggestions.

First there is no problem with using only two electrodes, the one channel as the electrical signals are actually mixed in the unit which means you can use 2 rather than the traditional 4.

Can you put the electrodes on your shoulder area in the muscles running up to your neck? If you are using say 3&quot; round electrodes and can reach there yourself you might want to go with a 2&quot; x 4&quot; electrode which will give you the extra length of stimulation surface area and stagger them one one side of your shoulder/neck and the other somewhat lower or higher so between them is the entire pain area, and not only part of it. The key is always to have the stimulation go into the exact areas you feel pain. Sometimes you have to move the electrodes from treatment to treatment simply because the pain has moved.

Last comment for now. You can treat as often as you need to and anytime the pain comes back then start treating. My suspicions are after couple weeks you may not be in enough pain to warrant more than treating 1-3x per week.

There are also &quot;garments&quot; made that you can wear that have electrodes in them but to my knowledge not on the shoulder area, low back yes, but not for shoulders. Call me at 800-937-3993 if you have other questions as there are also options of electrodes that stay on longer and also you can use skin prep which protects your skin so once you have the electrodes on then you can leave on all day until you do another treatment.

  Hope this helps.

<description>Wasn&#039;t sure where to put this message, so here goes...

The unit so far is amazing.

I&#039;m using only 2 pole Infrex (can&#039;t place the four on myself) for 30 mins twice daily and I am getting about 4-6 hours of relief w/each session!!!!

I have been able to cut out one pain med completely, one other I have cut down.

The area of the most pain for me is from the middle of my shoulder blades to the base of my neck. I have a terrible time getting the electrodes placed in this area.

I live alone, so I have come up with an idea that allows me to get them fairly close to where they need to be. But it is still is very difficult.
Does any one have any suggestions about placing the electrodes on hard to reach areas?
